Family Camping
Let’s mix some family in the blog. This weekend the Weaver family enjoyed some time off together at a local campground. It was the complete Weaver family: Mom (age 86), Dad (age 85), and my six siblings, along with spouses (There are six brothers and two sisters), plus all the grandchildren and great grandchildren.
On Friday evening we had a total of around 80 people at the camgrounds where I grilled bratwursts and hotdogs on an open fire. We had a most blessed time. It’s amazing what us five Amish brothers discovered during our young days at home with Dad. We had interesting ‘retellings’ of years ago.
We have a great family and are blessed to have Mom and Dad still with us!
