Start to Finish
We Are Here to Help
At any time during your shopping experience feel free to contact us with questions. You can do this by e-mail, phone, or by clicking the “Chat with us” button at the bottom right corner.
Choosing custom furniture can be overwhelming, we want to make the process as simple and enjoyable as possible for you! The easiest way to place an order with Weaver Craft is simply to see something you like and order it exactly as it’s shown. Most items or sets will have this listed as the first option.
Changing Woods or Colors
If the piece isn’t perfect in the picture, don’t worry! You can choose from many different wood and finish options. These can be seen by clicking on the Wood Samples tab at the top of the page. When changing the color of your piece, just select your wood of choice and “Request Samples” from the drop-down menu and specify the finish of choice when you check out.
If you would like to order samples, you can simply choose from the Wood Samples page and add them to your cart. After you check out, we will send them directly to you. You can do this before, during, or after ordering your furniture. There is a fee for the samples, but don’t worry! The price of the samples will be credited to your furniture order.
Ordering Your Furniture
Once you’ve found the perfect fit for your home, you can complete your order with a 30% deposit. The remaining amount won’t be due until we are ready to ship the furniture. Now you can sit back and relax while we get to work!
The Building Process
We work with over 100 different Amish Craftsmen to offer a wide variety of products. Some of them specialize in different areas. For instance one builder may produce only tables, while another makes only chairs. This is quite common and ensures an heirloom quality product every time.
Once the furniture is built, we bring it to our Weaver Craft Finish Shop in Ohio to sand, stain, and finish your furniture. This lets us finish all of your pieces together with no guesswork as to how well the chairs match the table, etc.
Keep in mind, hardwood is a product of nature, and it will vary from one piece to another. We do our best to select only the finest materials for our furniture, but variations and grain are normal and a part of the beauty of solid wood furniture.
Good things come to those who wait! Our Amish crafted furniture takes a while to build; we don’t keep any furniture in stock. This allows you to custom order each piece, exactly the way you need it! Typical lead times are usually 12-18 weeks from order processing to delivery. Your specific time frame can vary with each order.
When your entire order is complete and has passed through all of our quality control stations, we will contact you to collect the final payment and provide shipping information. Deliveries are made by experienced furniture haulers who are familiar with Amish Furniture and how to handle it.
